As our textbook states, "Cultures vary, cultures change, and cultures shape our lives." Culture can change very quickly; such as, fashion, ideas, inventions, and habits. These elements can chage so quickly, that in fact, evolutionary psychologists have created the term meme for these self-replicating cultural mutations. Technology is a perfect example of something in our culture that has imlemented a drastic change that is now a necessary part of our lives. Technology is something that is ever evolving, but it continues to remain an enormous part of our culture. Overall, culture does change over time, but many of the elements of our culture do reamin the same, but are just built upon.
